Under the supervision of the Los Angeles Facilities and Business Services Manager Staff Services Manager I (SSMI), this position serves as the Assets and Facilities Management Analyst (SSA) of the Business Services Los Angeles Unit, within the Financial and Business Management Division – Business Management Bureau (FBMD-BMB). The incumbent independently performs technical and analytical asset and facilities management work of average difficulty in a variety of functions within the FBMD-BMB. The incumbent will assist with research, development the coordination of departmental asset management, asset accounting, facilities management, contract management, emergency preparedness, and special projects within the FBMD-BMB. The incumbent will have contact with a wide variety of departmental staff, in addition to close and frequent contact with all levels of other governmental agencies, departmental management, and the public. The SSA will apply various laws, rules, policies, and procedures to effectively execute assigned tasks.

Working Conditions
- The incumbent must be able to work in a high-rise building.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk / stand for up to 8 hours a day.
- The incumbent may telework in accordance with CDI's Telework Policy. Teleworking employees may be required to report to their headquarters office location on designated telework days. Travel expenses are not reimbursed, however other authorized transit subsidies do exist for those who qualify.
