Public Affairs Leadership Opportunity

Job Overview:

As a Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and implementation of comprehensive public outreach, educational, and media affairs programs. You will work closely with senior officials to develop and execute strategic communications plans that address complex public affairs issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of public affairs specialists, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance and productivity.
    • Oversee responses to national and local media inquiries, ensuring timely handling and accuracy of information.
    • Plan and oversee all phases of OJP publication production, including editing and rewriting material before publication.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship required.
    • Subject to background/suitability investigation/determination.
