Job Duties
This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate management of key operational processes that support the juvenile correctional facility. This position oversees post audits, JCS scheduling, and leave request management, ensuring compliance with procedures and maintaining workforce efficiency to uphold security and operational standards. This position coordinates facility scheduling of all programs to ensure adequate JCS scheduling as well as efficient facility operations.
Core Responsibilities, not limited to:
- Develop and manage schedules for direct care staff to ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts, maintaining 24/7, 365-day coverage.
- Adjust schedules proactively to account for leave, training, emergencies, or other changes in staff availability.
- Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize staffing efficiency and ensure fairness and compliance with labor laws and institutional
- Communicate schedules promptly to all staff and address scheduling conflicts in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with all facility leadership to coordinate any programming, including but not limited to PBIS, Aspire, Division of Education, and
- Collaborates and communicates with security managers to track unscheduled absences and communicates pay docking situations to
- Reviews daily duty rosters and reports violations of procedure or FLSA to the Assistant Superintendent in charge of security, or designee.
- Reviews 28-day timesheets for accuracy prior to submission to the HR timekeeper. Reports all discrepancies to the Assistant Superintendent in
- Review and process employee leave requests, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of leave balances and usage, providing regular reports to management as needed.
- Coordinate with HR and supervisors to address leave-related inquiries and or discrepancies.
- Conducts thorough reviews and edits of post audit quarterly to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, state regulations, and audit
- Identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in staffing, procedures, or documentation and recommend corrective actions. Completes and/or

Minimum Qualifications
- Strong organizational, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Site, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines. Familiarity with labor laws, correctional operations, and audit standards.
