Job Duties
DMV seeks a highly skilled and motivated Statistical Analyst to join our Traffic Safety team. The ideal candidate will deeply understand the latest data collection techniques, statistical methods, and software applications. They will research, collect, organize, and analyze statistical data to support our company's goals and initiatives. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple projects, responding to emerging priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data using the latest data collection techniques and statistical methods.
- Utilize statistical formulas, graphic arrangements, and software applications to interpret data effectively.
- Research, collect, and organize statistical data to support various projects.
- Analyze and make preliminary interpretations of statistical data to inform decision-making processes.
- Present factual information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Adapt to emerging priorities and adjust work plans accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated a working knowledge of the latest data collection techniques, statistical methods, and procedures.
- Proficiency in statistical formulas and graphic arrangements.
- Strong familiarity with statistical software applications and tools.
- Ability to research, collect, and organize statistical data effectively.
- Analytical skills to interpret statistical data and draw preliminary conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
