Job Duties

The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a customer-oriented Class A CDL Driver to join the team. In this position, you will operate a 28-foot tandem axle commercial truck and / or tractor trailer with air brakes to deliver raw materials and finished goods and / or recyclable items to DMV Customer Service Centers, DMV Selects, and Weigh Stations. This position performs a variety of duties within the DMV warehouse which includes receiving, storage, order picking, shipping, inventory, salvage processing, and maintaining workflow while adhering to safety, productivity, and customer service standards for both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities Include :

• Traveling overnight throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to deliver critical operating supplies
• Generating all required paperwork including vouchers, receipt documents, delivery logs, mileage reports, and return vouchers for both short and long trips
• Reviewing requisitions to determine assembly, packing, loading, and distribution of supplies and critical items
• Maintaining logs and records of stock items received and shipped and coordinate with the ASA Management Analyst Sr. to review and discuss revised, deleted, or new forms to manage the inventory accurately
