The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking an experienced Grants Reimbursement Analyst for the Grants Management Office. In this position, you will review and analyze reimbursement vouchers and supporting documents submitted by grant subrecipients receiving federal grant awards for Virginia highway safety programs and activities to ensure compliance with federal/state/agency regulations, policies and procedures. This position updates the internal Oracle Financial Grants and Contracts System (GCS) module to accurately reflect grant expenditure activity by subrecipient project. This position creates and maintains expenditure and reimbursement reports and balances and reconciles this information with the Oracle GCS and Cardinal financial systems. The Grants Administrator trains DMV staff and grant subrecipients on expenditure and reimbursement requirements, policies and procedures.
This position is eligible for a hybrid office/telework schedule (4 days in office, 1 day telework)

Minimum Qualifications
- Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping/accounting principles, policies, procedures and practices
- Knowledge of federal grants
- Proficient in the use of a calculator, computer, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional software
- Demonstrated ability to accurately perform detailed work with numerical data using basic mathematical computations and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, balance and reconcile entries and accounts
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial activity and documents to ensure compliance with federal, state, agency regulations, and policies
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and reports
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, explain and apply federal, state, agency regulations, policies and procedures to job performance
- Demonstrated ability to develop, document and present training information and material
- Skilled in customer service and communicating effectively both orally and in writing
