What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST position at Department of Resources Recycling & Recovery?
The incumbent may be required to travel, not to exceed 15% of the time, which may include overnight travel.

This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters location, as indicated on their duty statement, at their own expense. Beginning on July 1, 2025, employees are expected to report to the office at least four days per week.

Desirable Qualifications
- Beverage Container Recycling Program knowledge.
- Oracle or Salesforce Database experience; Experience running reports, record creation, and data entry.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, and other office productivity software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, web conferencing software (e.g., GoToMeeting, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Excellent analytical/research skills, strong customer service skills, good written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Processing paperwork such as applications, contracts, or work orders.
- Bilingual-Spanish (desired not required)
