Department of Revenue is recruiting for a Business System Coordinator - Operations & Policy Analyst 3 position. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Information Technology Services Division in the Processing Center Operations Unit. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely.
This is a limited duration appointment that is expected to end on November 30, 2026. Limited duration appointments are benefits eligible and have a designated maximum length of service. This position has the potential to become permanent.

What You Will Be Doing
Below is a sampling of job duties. It is not meant to encompass all duties.
  • Define and control all the tasks in the annual update of the front-end business return processing systems.
  • Plan and manage legislative or policy changes to processes and systems that impact business and property tax programs.
  • Prepare the IT resource requests for any changes or enhancements to the systems that require IT resource.
  • Prioritize and assign work to accomplish prescribed work efficiently, give direction to team members concerning work procedures, give established standards of performance to team members and review work of team members for compliance with standards.
  • Act as the Processing Center liaison with business divisions, Employment Department, and Department of Consumer Business Services in development and recreation and processing of the Oregon Quarterly form.
  • Coordinate the planning, design and development of automated systems/processes utilized by the Processing Center for the various business programs.

This Is What You Need to Qualify

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
