What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST position at Department of Social Services?
Works together with technical staff and end users to support the successful implementation and use of ACMS. Act as point of contact for all end users, including the public, for ACMS questions or concerns, including the detailed reporting of possible defects or bugs. Research and resolve issues at lowest tier level and escalate technical system issues to identified tier support. Coordinates and supports the use of ACMS statewide. Manages stakeholder outreach, effectively communicates with all stakeholders (i.e. CDSS, Department of Health Care Services, Covered California, County Welfare Director Advocates, counties, and the public) by providing scheduled communications to internal and external stakeholders on past and upcoming activities and accomplishments. Supports the testing of ACMS updates with user acceptance testing, coordinating training activities, and validating user stories and test scripts.
Work within the project’s task and defect management system to complete daily assigned tasks and collaborate with other users whose work may be dependent on your task completion. Works with Training Bureau to analyze changes in government regulations and mandates and provides recommendations to management for changes to the ACMS system. Assists with testing newly developed code and high-level regression testing to ensure functionality built in previous releases continues to work properly. Collaborate and coordinate with SHD Training Bureau to integrate policy changes in to ACMS workflows.

This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under California Government Code Section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California.
