Job Description:
In this position, you will work in the Military Personnel Division as a Human Resources Assistant. This role involves maintaining accurate and up-to-date information about military personnel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain the accuracy of military personnel records
- Ensure deployment readiness by collaborating with installation leadership
- Review and analyze regulations and directives affecting administration and military programs
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
- This position requires occasional travel for Temporary Duty (TDY) or business purposes
Qualifications:
Applicants must have specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level in the federal service, including experience processing personnel actions, preparing documents, and reviewing records for accuracy.
Education:
A combination of education and specialized experience may be used to qualify for this position. However, no substitution of education for experience is permitted at the GS-06 level.
