Human Resources Assistant

Executive Coach Builders is looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our team in Springfield, MO! We are a premier luxury limousine and bus builder - family owned and operated for 40 years! We'd love to have you on our team.

This is a Human Resources role with an emphasis on recruiting. Our ideal candidate should have prior experience in Human Resources and/or within the recruitment field.

Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the HR Director in administration of the HR department and company policies
  • Performing administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases, employee records, and responding to correspondence for the HR department
  • Maintaining proper records of employee attendance and leave to assist with payroll duties
  • Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new and existing employees
  • Serving as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety, worker’s compensation, and employment and labor laws
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for the department

Recruitment Collateral Duties:

  • Understanding recruitment concepts and networking resources
  • Submitting online job postings, shortlisting candidates and scheduling job interviews
  • Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills, experience and education
  • Contacting references and performing background checks on certain applicants
  • Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits and duties

Human Resources Assistant Qualifications:

  • Strong human resources and business acumen
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and resolve employees’ problems
  • Familiarity with office software applications
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations as well as industry-specific regulations
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Discretion and the ability to keep data and information private

Benefits

  • Benefits after a 90-day probation period. Benefits include holiday pay, health, dental, vision, Aflac, 401k and life insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
