Deputy Branch Chief - CBRN
Serves as Deputy Branch Chief and technical advisor for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) branch within the Requirements Determination Division (RDD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, coordinates, and supervises all activities involved in accomplishing the missions and functions assigned to the branch.
- Performs as the Branch Chief in their absence.
- Identifies operational deficiencies and directs initiation of requirement documents to satisfy identifiable needs and capability gaps.
- Advises internal and external customers to determine program status, major milestones, and coordination of each to ascertain appropriate action required to maintain or improve program schedules.
Requirements:
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent is required to submit a confidential financial disclosure report, OGE-450, upon entering position and annually thereafter.
- Position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R and pass urinalysis testing prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
Qualifications:
- To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
- Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Participate in capability materiel development program to determine requirements; 2) Analyze materiel systems to determine if they are within performance measures; and 3) Integrate the key elements of a capability and manage the capability through its lifecycle.
