You will design and implement security assistance programs which support mission requirements and customer needs. You will deliver oral presentations on security cooperation to resolve controversial matters or convey information about proposed program changes. You will oversee work assignments to team members in accordance with individual strengths and competencies. You will evaluate management studies, program management reviews, or foreign military sales organizational structures to develop process improvement strategies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Experience with effective oral and written communications and analyzing and resolving complex organizational issues. Experience of expertise in security assistance and cooperative programs with foreign countries. Experience of expertise in DOD security cooperation information management systems and portals. Experience with DOD weapon systems and organizations and associated program management, acquisition processes, regulations and procedures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
