As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of technical authority in accordance with NAVSEA Instructions and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee contract administration for detailed design and construction, conversion, repair, and overhaul projects
• Perform engineering control and support functions to execute Technical Authority
• Serve as delegated authority to make technical decisions for the Navy and perform engineering control over contractors
• Schedule workload based on work priority, manpower availability, relative complexity of the job, and estimated degree of investigation or man-hours required
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, mathematics) from an accredited institution
• At least one year of specialized experience in a similar role, including contract administration, technical authority, and engineering control
• Strong knowledge of NAVSEA Instructions, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel occasionally
