Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: Intelligence Operations Division
Job Summary:
The Branch Manager will oversee the Special Security Office (SSO) and the Advanced Programs Support Office (APSO) in the Intelligence Operations Division. The role will involve supervising a security staff that provides Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAPs) physical, personnel, information, and information systems security to Government and contract facilities.
The Branch Manager will work with SCI and SAP Team Leads, Regional SSO, Program Security Officers, Program Managers, NUWN KPT Division/Department Heads, and various stakeholders within and outside the Command. They will ensure security compliance and provide access to required facilities and information systems.
The Branch Manager will also administer the Command's SCI and SAP security requirements in support of engineering projects and other efforts as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate security program requirements to coordinate security matters with multiple teams or commands.
- Identify problems, develop solutions, and monitor the execution of resources for a security program.
- Supervise a security staff that provides SCI and SAP physical, personnel, information, and information systems security.
- Ensure security compliance and provide access to required facilities and information systems.
- Administer the Command's SCI and SAP security requirements in support of engineering projects and other efforts as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate security program requirements, coordinate security matters, identify problems, develop solutions, and monitor the execution of resources for a security program.
Salary: $123,000 - $170,000 per year.
