.A day in the life:
- Take photos for customers who have applied for identification cards, instructional permits or driver licenses.
- Inspect vehicles and verify VIN numbers. This requires working outside in all weather conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction.
- Answer complex questions from the general public about DMV services and procedures.
- Must be able to type at least 30 words per minute with a high level of accuracy. A typing assessment will be conducted at time of interview for selected candidates.
- Travel to other offices within the region for relief work.
- Attend training sessions outside of the region.

Minimum qualifications:
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents.

- Temporary appointments may be full-time or part-time and will not exceed six months or 1,040 hours.
