Program Manager Duties
The Program Manager directs subordinate employees in the technical analysis and evaluation of current operational systems used by Flight Service Specialist to provide flight services within the NAS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in planning efforts that cross organizational lines within the major subdivision and LOB/SO on the future needs of flight service operations
- Directs the team in the development of Statements of Work (SOW) and requirements
- Provides direction in the development of contractual relationships, evaluating cost estimates, determining contractor responsibility and compliance
- Develops and approves solutions to current and anticipated problems which may cross organizational lines and disciplines
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959
- Must submit an SF50
- Designated or Random Drug Testing required
Qualifications
- To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J, FG/GS-14 level
- Experience in the application of program and project management principles and techniques to manage or direct one or more programs
Additional Information
This position may be subject to a background investigation. A one-year probationary period may be required. The person selected for this position may be required to file a financial disclosure statement within 30 days of entry on duty.
