The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for advancing business growth by applying strategic analysis to business data. This role will identify organization-enhancing opportunities and optimize profitability through close collaboration with the departmental teams. The Business Intelligence Analyst will utilize insights and market data to drive informed strategies and growth-focused decision-making across the organization.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform data-driven analysis to identify trends, growth opportunities, and revenue optimization strategies.
- Develop and manage pricing strategies to enhance profitability, including oversight of quotes, MSA (Master Service Agreements), and margin reporting.
- Oversee SPA (Special Pricing Agreements) and rebate programs in collaboration with vendor partners.
- Collaborate with the various teams to support accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and annual KPI development.
- Develop tiered discount structures to ensure competitive positioning, utilizing market trends and competitor pricing.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and analyses to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Utilize ERP system (NetSuite) and/or other software systems to develop and implement tools that support the organization based on department needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 2 years of experience in sales analysis or pricing strategy preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and department needs efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrate mastery of skills in a cloud based ERP
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
