What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Communications Specialist position at DePaul Talent Acquisition?
What You'll Do:
- Slate Communications Configuration and Deployment– Manage all planned and ad-hoc messaging for primarily graduate recruitment through the Slate Deliver tool. This includes partnering with colleagues in Enrollment Management, admissions offices, and student service departments on email template design and deployment, SMS deployment, and other prospective student outreach efforts. This also includes building all necessary queries, populations/segmentation, message coding logic (liquid markup, UTM, etc.) and message editing (HTM/CSS) in order to successfully deploy communications to their intended recipients. Support in the undergraduate space as needed.
- Communications Reporting – Manage and develop all standard and ad-hoc reports to determine ROI and other performance metrics across all planned and ad-hoc messaging. Collaborate with partners in Enrollment Management, IRMA, and colleges to determine new measurements and communication reporting needs.
- General Slate Configuration – In conjunction with Digital Marketing and User Experience colleagues serve as a Slate admin, pro- actively answering and solving Slate system issues. Maintain general Slate administrative tool knowledge across all modules of Slate in order to assist with special projects and maintenance across Slate.
- Help to manage and coordinate the day to day workload activities of student staff members.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 1-3 years experience managing complex queries and communication processes within a CRM, preferably Slate, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and database queries.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL and Liquid coding languages.
- Extremely Detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- May include some evening and weekend hours.

Salary : $42,679 - $55,000
