Your Job DEPCOM is looking for an Electrical Designer to join our team. If you are looking for a way to accelerate your career and be part of an industry leading company, this may be the opportunity for you! What You Will Do
- Develop electrical packages for field installation, including single-line diagrams, routing plans, and elevation details for equipment
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure that all technical design requirements are represented in the drawing package
- Manage day-to-day workflow to ensure balance between multiple projects in development at the same time
- Provide feedback to the CAD Manager on how effective processes for the CAD department are functioning Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- AutoCAD drafting experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD sheet-set manager, blocks and x-references
- Understanding of general drafting standards
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) What Will Put You Ahead
- Civil3D Experience
- Additional 2D or 3D CAD design experience
- History of using Adobe Acrobat or BlueBeam Revu
