Position: Electrical Designer
Salary: Between $90k to $100k Per Year
Location: Warren, NJ (Open to NYC candidates)
The Electrical Designer will serve as a Project Manager, responsible for designing electrical systems, performing site visits, conducting calculations, preparing drawings, and ensuring project success. The role includes field inspections, report preparation, and collaboration with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and document existing electrical conditions.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system design.
- Develop lighting layouts, conduit routing, and circuit breaker sizing.
- Prepare drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and project deliverables.
- Conduct inspections, document conditions, and review change orders.
- Assist in business development and client interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in electrical design.
- EIT certification preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to travel for site visits and work at heights.
