We currently have an opening for a Warehouse Manager
Position Summary: Provide complete material, equipment and supply support to our technicians in order to serve our Customers with excellence. Manage all inventory to set budgets by building relationships with vendors, maintaining strict inventory control and upholding all process and procedures. Manager warehouse staff.
Work Hours: Mon - Fri, 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. / 30 Minute Lunch
Pay Rate: Dependent upon Experience
Essential Functions:
- Maintain and update inventory
- Place orders with appropriate vendors
- Recommending what inventory items should be discontinued and any new stock suggestions
- Researches vendors for optimized cost and updates Company Pricebook
- Reviews full pricing and primary vendor list quarterly
- Receives/checks deliveries for accuracy. Ensures trucks/vans are stocked with minimum and maximum according to service standards.
- Pulls job parts and accurately stages and labels to ensure technicians have required items
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
- Price shop special orders
- Manage and develop the warehouse staff
- Supervises physical inventory counts of both warehouse and trucks/vans
- Maintain all onsite equipment
- Repair equipment, following SOP, to get back in working order in a timely manner
- Maintain the building/grounds in order to ensure cleanliness and safety standards
- Maintains company's financial objectives
- Manages expenses to achieve predetermined budget
- Reports to management and ownership team monthly
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid, Clean driver's license
- Able to back up a trailer
- 5 plus years of warehouse experience
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
- Proficient computer skills including Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office applications
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships and coordinate staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to write process and procedures
- Understanding warehouse and grounds safety
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Mechanical aptitude including ability to perform repairs/maintenance on company equipment
- Managing budgets
- Lift 50 lbs.
