Facility Manager

Expected Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000/year.

Summary And Scope

The Facility Manager will ensure smooth operations at the Deployed Resources facility . This includes oversight of the facility, staff, projects executed at the facility, and additional assignments as needed. This position works with the Maintenance Manager to repair and update all equipment as necessary. This position is also responsible for all the 24/7 shipping and receiving of equipment at their facility. This Facility Manager is also responsible for working with the Inventory Manager to ensure the inventory at their yard is up to date.

Essential Functions

• Manage day-to-day facility operations. 
• Manage 24/7 Shipping and Receiving.
• Manage inventory at Facility.
• Oversee safety of all personnel during site operations 
• Repair/Replace rental equipment to be 100% ready.  
• Fabricate new equipment as needed.  
• Coordinate service calls when required.
• Manage and track established budgets.  
• Seek cost savings in daily operations. 
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills And Specifications

• Proven proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot systems to identify and correct problems 
• Read and interpret owner’s manuals, equipment schematics, and work orders 
• Proven leadership and communication skills 
• Great organizational skills 
• Ability to speak, read and write clearly in English 
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• Associate degree, preferred.
• 8 years of relevant experience (e.g. rental yard, construction, or fabrication)
• Certifications or Licenses in Plumbing, Electrical, Welding, or HVAC are highly desired.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A is desired
  
  

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see, hear, stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, climb, engage in repetitive motions, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls. May routinely and repetitively lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted (or heavier with the use of proper equipment and procedures). 

Expected Hours of Work

The ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs. It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office and/or field environments, 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.  Must be able to communicate clearly in English, written and verbally. 

Travel

This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours’ notice.

Work Authorization

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
• Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, occupational health physical and lift test (if applicable), credit check (if applicable), and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
