Porter II is responsible for the work of Porters across departments to ensure that other staff and associates have what they need at the point in time when they need it. Whether delivering items directly to staff or providing support to housekeeping, warehouse, food service, office space, or other areas that need assistance, our Porter II moves about their space to get the job done. They are critical to ensure smooth operations throughout the entire facility.

Essential Functions:

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Run, walk/drive files to/from field offices/sites
• Basic housekeeping: Picking up trash, sweeping, fridge, shredding paper
• Assist in operating access doors and answering phones
• Personal Property Management: Tagging, bagging, sealing, storing, retrieval, etc.
• Meal Prep: Heating meals, receiving meals, distributing food, filling water jugs, providing cups, etc.
• Warehouse: Receive/distribute; this includes necessities such as clothes, blankets, personal care items, etc.
• Warehouse: Restock, organize, sort, and label supply items; clean, organize, and stock locations that house overstock items; pack, re-locate, and distribute supplies to stations/ports
• Supply Runs: Pick up pre-purchased items, such as food and supplies, to/from vendor and location
• Prescription Medicine Runs: Pick up medical prescriptions from local pharmacies
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print; visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
• Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

• Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Must be warm, engaging, charismatic; and possess a natural ability to develop rapport with others
• Must practice good judgment and demonstrate a high level of integrity
• Must be proactive; take initiative with minimal supervision
• Must be resourceful; think critically and find solutions even without the obvious resources
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
• Must be able to navigate challenging situations while remaining positive
• Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Valid driver’s license, required
• 6 months in a supervisory/lead role, required. One year, preferred
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps and lift up to 55lbs
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
• Must pass a motor vehicle record check, as well as an employer and government background check (e-QIP or eAPP), after accepting a conditional offer of employment
