As the Talent Acquisition Supervisor at Deployed Services, you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and team to achieve the organization's recruiting efforts. The Talent Acquisition Supervisor will also assist in providing performance management and coaching to elevate team performance. The Talent Acquisition Supervisor will serve as an important member of the team who is passionate about building a diversified and inclusive workforce and is focused on creating a best-in-class employee experience.
Essential Functions :
- Work with Talent Acquisition Management to plan, organize, and communicate goals to the Talent Acquisition Specialists
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- Provide daily support and leadership to a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists
- Supervise daily operations of the team, develop, and implement established departmental or program policies and procedures, problem-solve analytical issues
- Perform special projects involving the planning, research, development, or implementation of a technical phase of new software administration
- Prepare various reports, correspondence, and records of hiring efforts with recommendations when appropriate
- Assist the Manager to lead a team while creating a sense of team empowerment, unity, and engagement, addressing any gaps through mentorship and training
- Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership to forecast and identify staffing needs
- Develop creative strategies to attract and assess talent, which includes hiring diverse, qualified candidates to support short- and long-term needs internally and externally
- Utilize sourcing tools, hiring events, marketing, academic partnerships, and social opportunities to drive candidate engagement
- Create and post requisitions, screen candidates, and assist in the recruiting process
- Provide proactive and consistent communication with business partners to drive the process status and ensure successful hires within the expected timeline
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of pre-screened candidates
