The Lead Facility Maintenance Technician position will be located in Channelview, TX and will service both Pasadena and Channelview TX locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Will assist with local maintenance work, repairs, and various miscellaneous duties supporting the site.
- Perform preventive maintenance on motors, motor controls, pumps and compressors.
- Will assist with electrical work.
- Perform boiler unit preventative maintenance, along with associated piping and valve repair or replacement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of electrical work including high and low voltages (120/240 and 277/480)
- Experience in general maintenance, good mechanical aptitude, able to work on multiple tasks and the ability to follow direction is required
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Industrial and Commercial work experience is a plus
- Exposure to various skilled trades (i.e., mechanical, electrical, etc.).
- Will possess a high school diploma or GED, have attended a vocational technical institution studying various skilled trades or has worked in a construction environment.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn the application of using steam through associated piping to maintain product temperatures as required by manufactures specifications.
