Job Duties

NVMHI is seeking a dependable and highly motivated team player to provide administrative support to projects and departments within the facility. Duties include office management for the Psychology and Forensic Services department: appointment and calendar management, responding to phone and email inquiries, preparing for meetings and taking minutes, coordinating rooms for meetings and trainings, drafting correspondences, completing travel requests, and maintaining office supplies. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining identified databases as well as generating data-based reports. This position will also be responsible for coordinating civil committment hearings, including liaising with court personnel, managing related legal paperwork, attending hearings, and communicating hearing results. The incumbent will also provide secondary coverage for the administrative functions of the Forensic Services liaison. The incumbent will also provide administrative support for pretrial forensic operations . The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills. They must be organized, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, have the ability to analyze problems and create methods for completing complex task, and have the ability to work independently and as a team member.

Minimum Qualifications

• Significant prior administrative assistant/secretarial experience required.
