Job Summary
The Business Development Director, Hospitality Services, is responsible for expanding DerbySoft’s strategic initiatives to expand DerbySoft’s business activities within the LATAM region. DerbySoft Hospitality Services accelerates both distribution (connectivity) and digital direct (digital marketing) revenue and capabilities of our customers. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, forging partnerships, and negotiating deals to drive revenue growth on a global scale. This position will collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the business unit’s overall objectives. To be successful, the Business Development Director LATAM, Hospitality Services will demonstrate strong leadership, business acumen, and a deep understanding of LATAM and global market dynamics.
Experience & Skills
- With a strong sales strategic mindset and comprehensive understanding of company strategy and product/service, systematically develop and implement the go-to-market strategy to foster long-term relationships and identify sales opportunities.
- Strong business development planning and execution, cultivating sales pipelines and tracking success across LATAM region with well-defined KPIs.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in acquiring TMC, small to medium hotel groups, and driving revenue growth.
- Stay attuned to industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Actively engage in prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting DerbySoft's unique value proposition, and closing new business through virtual or in-person engagements.
- Represent DerbySoft at industry events, participate in panels, and contribute as a thought leader in the hospitality industry.
- Manage the sales pipeline, RFP, contracts, and CRM for assigned region.
- Establish partner relationships to deliver value to customers.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of DerbySoft products, connectivity services landscape, and channel partner offerings to support team members and customers effectively.
- Participate in training as assigned by the company.
- Ability to travel both nationally and internationally.

Education and Experience
- Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies, particularly in connectivity services and TMC, with a focus on relationship-building and identifying opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in global business development efforts, driving sales pipeline growth, and achieving key acquisition and revenue targets.
- Exceptional strategic thinking abilities with a keen understanding of company objectives, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to articulate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in English (both verbal and written), with additional fluency in Spanish.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience within the travel industry preferred.
- Can-do attitude.
