About This Opportunity

Derek Lam 10 Crosby is seeking an experienced Customer Experience Strategist to join our team in East Hampton. As a key member of our store leadership, you will focus on creating exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

As a leader, you will oversee the daily operations of our boutique, ensuring smooth and effective functioning. You will also develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and retention, working closely with our sales and buying teams.

Another critical aspect of this role is providing management presence on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional client experience and establishing long-term relationships with key customers based on sales and marketing data.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be operationally tech-savvy, able to manage POS systems, inventory, sales drops, and returns-to-vendor (RTVs). Your entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, will enable you to build, coach, and retain a high-performing team that meets sales, operational, and financial performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement customer experience strategies to drive sales growth and retention
• Develop and execute in-store events and activations to attract new customers and retain current ones
• Partner with the sales and buying teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
• Manage inventory and track best sellers to optimize sales performance
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a complex customer-focused environment
• Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software
