What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Administrative Assistant position at Dergalis Associates?
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments and manage calendar/activities for Vice President
- Ability to interact effectively via phone and email to ensure that all tasks are performed properly, with high quality, and on schedule
- Provide prompt, professional responses to client inquiries via telephone and email
- Ability to manage projects and ensure Team members are on-time with tasks
- Experience in a financial services organization dealing directly with client applications, customer service, and solving client issues
- Ability to work easily with numbers using spreadsheets
- Assist in the production of reports and client communications that are due on a regular basis using Excel and Word.
- Filing, typing, scanning, and other administrative tasks as required
A successful candidate should have the following:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as an Executive Administrative Assistant with a proven track record
- Background in financial services and/or insurance preferred
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Capacity to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and vocal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as needed
