Ideal candidates will be based in PA, NJ, or MD, covering a territory that includes approximately 500 stores spanning from Massachusetts to North Carolina, with Philadelphia being the center point.
As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the East, you will play a pivotal role in our partnership with Ulta Beauty, one of our premier U.S. retail accounts. This position blends team leadership with strategic partnership management, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of 7-10 National Account Retail Managers (NARMs).
- Provide continuous coaching and mentorship, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Develop tailored sales strategies for individual team members and the collective group.
- Oversee team performance, making tactical adjustments to meet and exceed targets.
- Build a call cycle that supports each individual NARM.
- Support and co-host retail events, ensuring sales objectives are achieved.
- Learn from and share best practices with other regionals.
Strategic Partnership Management:
- Partner with the Sales Director to align with overarching company goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Education.
- Regularly engage with Ulta senior management to review store performances and strategize solutions.
- Plan and execute Cluster Trainings in partnership with Ulta store teams.
- Develop Ulta-specific materials and strategies in partnership with Education team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Esthetics license highly desirable.
- Experience in multi-location management and sales team leadership required.
- Strong background in retail sales, preferably in skincare or beauty.
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work independently and travel extensively (approximately 10-15 nights a month).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on market needs typically Tuesday through Saturday.
