Finance Manager

Global logistics company is seeking a Full-time Accounting and Finance Supervisor. This new role will play an instrumental part in the company's financial activities. Location: Torrance, CA Pay: $58k-62k annual Job Type: Full-time; Mon-Fri; in-office Role Description:

• Maintaining financial records: keeping accurate records of financial transactions, including cash book, ledgers, journals, fixed assets list, etc
• Reconciling accounts: Ensuring that all accounts are balanced and discrepancies resolved
• Planning: Formulating financial strategies and managing a company's future cash flow
• Managing accounts payable and receivable: Handling invoices, billing, posting payments and collections
• Preparing payment: Issue payment to COD creditor, monthly office expenditure, and staff reimbursement claims
• Assisting with payroll: Supporting payroll processing and ensuring accurate employee compensation
• Supporting audits: Assisting with external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws
• General administrative tasks: Performing other administrative duties as needed, such as filing, answering phones, managing correspondence, ordering stationery, and other office needs.

REQUIRED:

• Accounting Degree with 2-4 years of experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Previous work experience in Freight Forwarding preferred
• Demonstrate critical thinking and time management
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Cargowise software is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
