Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable/ Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for efficiently managing accounts payable transactions and maintaining accurate financial records for our CAS clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while providing exceptional service to our clients.
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including reviewing, coding, and entering invoices into our accounting systems for multiple clients.
- Maintain organized records of payments, invoices, and all related documentation to ensure compliance and easy retrieval.
- Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions and support the team in maintaining clear and accurate financial documentation.
- Communicate with vendors at the direction of Accounts Payable Specialist.
- Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and enhance the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes as required.
- Maintain accurate W9s, and accurate address and contact information in the Vendor Portals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full Time
Starting pay $23 per hour based on experience
