Litigation Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced skilled litigation paralegal to assist in our litigation department. The ideal candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process and be very familiar with the workings of civil court. Superior client/customer service skills is a must for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings and motions
- Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, etc.
- Aid with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
- Provide assistance with case settlements
Skills:
- Proven working experience as a litigation paralegal
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc.
- Highly organized
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year dependent on experience.
