Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing various aspects of project execution, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within scope. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients. A background in construction management or related fields is preferred but not required.
General Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Assist in the preparation and review of project plans, including blueprints and schematics.
- Assist submittals and coordinate with general contractor, subcontractors and vendors.
- Coordinate tool/equipment delivery, storage containers and rental equipment required for project completion.
- Prepare and coordinate project close out requirements such as; warranties, IOMs and attic stock.
- Support and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in projects.
- Coordinate and facilitate RFI, CPR, RFP, ASI and all other construction directives.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and maintain documentation.
- Strong documentation skills throughout project duration required.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Support the project manager in managing budgets and resource allocation.
- Attend company meetings and training as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project coordination or management within the construction industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore or Bluebeam is a plus.
- Understanding of blueprint reading and schematics a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
- Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time well and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a neat appearance in a casual office environment.
