Job Summary
Assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of the campus network, which may include workstations, servers, applications, audio-visual equipment, copiers, printers, and phones. Facilitate the operation of technology equipment and associated software.
Essential Functions
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the network which may include providing specialized analysis, evaluation, security services, troubleshooting and technical maintenance.
Configure, install and maintain operating systems software, application software and workstation images.
Create custom scripts and batch files for computer management, software deployment with the desktop management suite, and user account management. Repackage software for deployment with Microsoft Configuration manager
Train faculty, staff, and students on the use of technology and address technology questions and issues.
Provide work direction to temporary employees that support the network.
Perform other duties as assigned.
