JOB IDENTIFICATION
Job Title: Concession Staff - Mystic
Grade: I
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Department: Recreation
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Aquatic Manager, Aquatic Supervisor, Assistant Aquatic Supervisor, Mystic Operations Manager, Group Coordinator
Supervises: N/A
BASIC FUNCTION
Concession Attendant stocks supplies, prepare food items and ensures a clean concession environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Prepare and display concession food, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Prepare and keep an adequate supply of food available.
- Operate all food preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for cleaning food preparation equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of concession building and outside grounds. Including facility sanitation.
- Empty garbage cans in a timely fashion and pick up trash/debris throughout picnic & concession area.
- Demonstrate and promote positive guest relations and exceptional customer service.
- Work as a team with entire staff.
- Report all equipment problems to Supervisor.
- Inform Supervisor of depleting food, paper, and cleaning supplies.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evening and weekend hours and July 4th.
OTHER DUTIES
- Assist the Group Reservation Coordinator as needed.
- Answer all guest questions and concerns.
- Monitor activity in entry area and parking lot, when needed.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual and Crisis Manual
- Direct patrons in the event of an emergency, such as fire, severe weather
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Some High School education
Experience: No prior work experience required.
16 years of age or older
Food handling and preparation experience recommended.
Certifications: First Aid, CPR and AED certifications preferred
Food Handler Training Certificate required following employment.
