OVERVIEW
DeSales University, in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, is a Catholic, private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts university. Founded by the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales in 1964, the 550-acre suburban campus is located about 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 90 miles southwest of New York City. POSITION SUMMARY
The groundskeeper has the overall responsibility of maintaining the campus grounds and all equipment used by the department in the maintenance of grounds and snow removal.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of trade or technical school
- Ability to make independent decisions, use good judgment and demonstrate integrity
- Proven ability to interact professionally and communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
- Must be able to work overtime upon supervisors request or work load
- Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a clean driving record
- Maintains an on-call status for emergency problems
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
