Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, from planning to completion.
- Coordination: Manage the activities of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Quality Control: Perform regular inspections to monitor progress and adherence to quality standards.
- Budgeting: Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costs.
- Scheduling: Create and manage schedules for workers and subcontractors.
- Reporting: Maintain a daily log of job site operations and report to management as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Oversight of multiple trades (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing...among others)
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with construction software and technology usage.
- Bachelor's degree or work experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
