Job Details: Review product and circuit card assembly designs for design for manufacture driven improvements - the right candidate here has an extensive manufacturing background and be able to review production products and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Reviews production and tooling methodologies and developed improvement recommendations
- Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
- Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
- Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices
- Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
- Identifies and resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
- Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
- Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems
- 5 or more years of production experience
Required Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Desired Qualifications:
- Defense industry production experience
- Lean principles and technologies
- Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
