Manufacturing Engineer

Job Details: Review product and circuit card assembly designs for design for manufacture driven improvements - the right candidate here has an extensive manufacturing background and be able to review production products and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Reviews production and tooling methodologies and developed improvement recommendations
• Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
• Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
• Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices
• Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
• Identifies and resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
• Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
• Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems
• 5 or more years of production experience
  
  

Required Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Defense industry production experience
• Lean principles and technologies
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
