Job Responsibilities:
- As a backup person for regular monthly billing that includes preparing the Costpoint invoice and backup data for all contract types (T&M, FFP, CPFF, etc.)
- Performs the retroactive billing.
- Reviewing the invoices for general cost charging errors.
- Prior to upload into the appropriate payment center or transmitted to the customer, performs a detail review for administrative errors that would delay payment.
- The Aged Accounts Receivable Report is reviewed monthly and all invoices over 60 days old are investigated.
- Responsible for resolving AR issues and the preparation of final invoices for contract close-outs. Entering and posting cash receipts each Monday.
- Provides accounting support to corporate level activities.
- Performs the bank reconciliation monthly.
- Performs month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepares journal entries, maintains, and reconciles GL accounts.
- Prepares the taxes document for Corp tax return.
- Prepares financial data to Auditors.
- Prepares annual Incurred Cost Submission to DCAA.
- Prepare IFF quarterly reports.
- Approve AP vouchers when Comptroller is out of the office.
- Helps to manage the Accounting Dept when Director of Accounting is out of the office.
- Other job functions as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience
- US Citizenship required
