What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Care Coordinator / Floor Supervisor / Staffing Coordinator position at Desert Marigold Assisted living and memory care?
Shift: Wednesday 1pm-7pm, & Thurs/Fri/Sat 7a-7p
You must be good with people, be a good role model, and help new hires feel welcomed and comfortable working in our community. Our best caregivers are only as successful as our Staffer / RCC.
As our staffing coordinator, you will ensure our staffing needs are met. This position will oversee employee schedules, conduct interviews with prospective job candidates, work with the HR/ payroll department on employee compensation, and manage employee retention programs.
Staffing coordinators keep our workforce at full capacity. If there, are call-offs it is up to the staffer to rearrange the schedule, call someone in, or work the open shift if no coverage is found.
Staffing and the success of our team come first.
When you have the schedule full and you are not working the floor you can assist our Wellness Director and help with Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) duties.
Communication is key. There will be great weeks where you barely work the floor but other weeks where it can get tough. Building the best relationships with your team will help be THE KEY to your success.
We have amazing caregivers and we hope to find another leader to add to our team to assist them with scheduling and feeling confident.
RCC Duties when not working the floor:
Assisting with Inputting Incident reports, updating service plans that reflect the same tasks in POC, and putting orders in PCC.
Our goals as a team :
Making sure we are at 100% POC compliant, and reminding our caregivers of important documentation needed.
Example: Reminding staff of 3 day progress notes for any COC. One note per shift.
