We are seeking a Treatment Coordinator for an exciting opportunity to directly contribute to the success of the practice and our company! You will conduct Treatment Presentations to ensure the patient understands their diagnosed treatment to improve their oral health, including coordinating financial arrangements. Call patients to ensure their appointments are confirmed, maintain incoming calls and maintain a full schedule, respond to emails sent to the practice within a 24 turnaround time, and coordinate follow-up visits after referral letters come in from specialists. - Presents treatment plans using the CareCredit Calculator tool; including coordination of financial arrangements and insurance benefits and ensuring the patient’s understanding and acceptance of diagnosed treatment
- Coordinates necessary appointments for dental care throughout all phases of a patient’s treatment plan
- Review the daily sheet with the Practice Manager to ensure all procedures were posted to the correct treating provider and charged out to the patients
- Checks out patients by ensuring copays have been collected and confirming reappointment
- Initiates prep work for the following day, identifying opportunities in coordination with Practice Manager
- Reviews and follows up on missed/canceled and pre-authorization reports
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
- A minimum of two years of customer-facing Dental Treatment Coordination required
- Strong written and verbal communication, listening, and organizational skills required
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of dental insurance plans and dental terminology preferred
- Bilingual required
