Desert View provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. We provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.The Licensed Nurse (LPN / LVN or RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and state regulations. This role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities : Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.Respond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions as needed.Follow infection control protocols and hospital safety procedures.Qualifications : Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
