This role involves reviewing prescriptions, advising healthcare professionals on medication therapies, overseeing pharmacy operations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities : Review and verify physician prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and potential drug interactions.Dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and state regulations.Provide guidance and recommendations on drug therapy to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.Monitor patient medication therapies to prevent adverse drug reactions and ensure optimal outcomes.Educate patients and families on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and inventory management.Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff.
