Lead Land Surveyor duties typically include:
- Lead and oversee all surveying operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with state and local platting regulations.
- Conduct and manage boundary, topographic, engineering, and residential surveys.
- Serve as the technical expert for land surveying, mentoring a team of surveyors.
- Plan, schedule, and manage projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Design Alaska seeks these desirable attributes in Lead Land Surveyor applicants:
- Currently living in Alaska.
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Currently a licensed land surveyor in the State of Alaska, or ability to become licensed.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS software, and advanced surveying equipment (GPS, Total Stations, LiDAR, drones).
