DESIGN BUILD Workspace is a team of workspace design and delivery experts focused on simplifying the workspace design and delivery model in markets across the US. The company seeks new approaches and better solutions to traditional architecture and construction models, delivering seamless projects from design to construction.
The Analyst position plays a key role within the Total Workplace team, offering critical support throughout the entire consulting process—from business development to strategy formulation and execution. Working under the guidance of the DESIGN BUILD Leadership team, this role will support existing clients and contribute to new business initiatives. Analysts will have the opportunity to collaborate with clients, and CRE Partners to develop and implement workplace strategy and change management solutions.
This role requires an on-site presence at least 1-3 days per week at our office in Seattle, WA.
- Assist in designing and executing workplace strategy and change management consulting services for clients across the Americas, with a particular emphasis on the PNW region.
- Engage in networking, speaking and support driving new strategy clients.
- Engage in all phases of project development, from idea generation to producing final client deliverables and recommendations.
- Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative analyses to address client challenges, synthesize insights, and develop actionable solutions.
- Conduct research on clients, industry trends, and benchmarks, then summarize key findings.
- 2–5 years of experience in consulting, space and occupancy planning, architecture, or as an analyst. This is not a design-focused role.
- Experience in workplace strategy, change management, or corporate real estate is preferred but not required.
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while keeping team members informed of progress.
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate findings.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to accurately document client and internal meetings, including key takeaways and action items.
- Willingness to explore and adopt new tools and technologies as they emerge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Adobe PDF Writer, and Outlook, with the capability to create professional presentations and reports.
- Knowledge of CAD, Revit, or similar space modeling software is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work on-site at least one day per week, with flexibility for additional on-site time or travel based on client and business needs.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to client locations.
A bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, change management, real estate, or a related field is required.
