Job DescriptionDemonstrate behavior that aligns with DGA's core values of People, Pace, Passion, and Purpose.Act as a liaison between sales, customers, and all internal teams.Establish strong working relationships with the buying team, collaborating directly in their layout center to address all business needs.Collaborate with product development and creative teams in developing sales sheets.Request images of new and existing products for sales presentations.Work with product development for in-store merchandising and promotional opportunities.Coordinate sales collateral as needed.Maintain and update customer line lists for accuracy.Maintain and complete customer item set-up sheets.Manage the SKU setup process for non-stock line or custom products.Work closely with the sales team to generate and provide detailed retailer quotes for all items within assigned categories.Assist the sales team with various projects such as catalog and sales sheet mailings, sample mailings, competitive product, and market research.Manage sample requests for sales presentations and industry trade shows, tracking and ensuring on-time arrival, including the packing of samples into cartons and suitcases.Assist leadership in investigating and resolving disputes from store claims related to excess defectives, aiming to recover unjustly deducted funds.Coordinate and attend inter-department meetings on behalf of the mass sales department and assist sales managers in communicating details required to move all opportunities through the company's order-to-shipment process.Collaborate with sourcing and product development teams to develop and maintain accurate internal costing.Manage order maintenance and maintain levels of inventory in domestic warehouses for assigned categories, focusing on minimizing excess stock and increasing reorders on profitable items.Partner with Walmart's replenishment team to analyze forecasts and implement strategies that drive weekly orders and increase sales.Archive prototype samples for the sales team.Assist Product Coordinator with sample management.Required Experience2 years of undergraduate work, particularly in business, is preferred. A 4-year degree is highly desirable.Industry experience in a comparable position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including direct experience with Walmart.Must have experience working with RetailLink and QMS. Nova and Luminate experience is a plus.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, with the ability to learn new software quickly. Power BI experience a plus.Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to follow established procedures quickly, efficiently, and accurately.Must be a self-starter with the ability to consistently solve both single and complex issues.Ability to meet varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment.High level of professionalism and patience when dealing with staff, vendors, and customers.Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including external customers and vendors.Candidates must be located in the Bentonville / Northwest Arkansas area.
