Graphic Prepress Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Graphic Prepress Professional to join our team at Design Group Americas. This critical role involves managing pre-press functions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality output. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of customer graphics files, troubleshooting and preparing files for proof and plates.
• Collaborate with the IT department to maintain and organize daily work on servers.
• Create customized layouts/graphic files for external customers using current pre-press programs.
• Develop and design layouts tailored to material size, considering color and material characteristics for both internal and external clients.
• Prepare die-lines for internal and external products.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CTP software issues, staying up-to-date with new software programs.
• Load plates into the CTP unit and perform maintenance tasks as a backup position.
• Support website-related duties and assist on the production floor as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkExpress, and InDesign.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the printing process and CTP technology.

Background RequirementsAt least 1-2 years of experience in graphic arts or a related field.
